第二代HFM-100 / HFM-100 HT / HFM-50檢測儀是針對隔熱產品和建築材料樣品進行穩態熱導率測量的理想選擇。Thermtest對熱流儀(HFM)進行了嚴格而精心的設計,以滿足多項國際標準的要求,其中包括ASTM C518、ASTM C1784、ISO 8301、JIS A1412、EN 12667和EN12664。操作HFM的步驟非常簡單且直觀,使用者只需將樣品放置在具有加熱與冷卻 功能的上下測試板之間,位於上測試板四個角的步進器會驅動其下降至完整接觸樣品的表面,測試板與樣品的接觸可通過預設值給予壓力,亦可由使用者所定義的樣品厚度進行控制。
步進器由獨立的光學編碼器所控制,用於測量樣品厚度(L),可精確到0.05 mm(0.0019英吋)。步進器的設計可讓上測試板感知樣品的厚度差異並進行微調,以此來優化測試板與樣品的接觸並進行準確地測量。上下測試板板內都各帶有熱流感測器,用於定時監測上測試板和下測試板因溫差(ΔT)產生的熱流(Q/A),待觀察到熱流已達穩定狀態後,利用復合熱流測量熱阻(R),並根據傅里葉定律計算出熱導率(λ)。
